Poppy you said my doctor wouldn’t be able to write something for me because he doesn’t know how my illness effects me day to day well how can someone from dwp that work in a office got no medical experience make a decision on my illness and has never met me.But they can make decisions on people’s illness0

I've not even been to the job centre in over 3 years I'm in wrag I'm hoping Ile be put back into support group I should hear from them in next 2 weeks they said0

No my doctor asked for a home visit I got a letter to say they had enough evidence so no medical needed0

As i advised, you will need to speak to welfare rights and they will give you face to face advice. I'm afraid i can't advise you any further but wish you good luck and hope you get the right decision for you.

I have a specialist at the hospital aswell as I have PTSD so he wrote a letter aswell0

Poppy is sort of right,
the actual descriptors have stayed the same.
However the DWP have been constantly reviewing and tweaking things in terms of interpretation to determine if someone may or may not hit a descriptor. An example been on imaginary aids to assist with mobility, thats one thats been tweaked since ESA was introduced.0 -

There's no timescales to any decisions. Ring DWP to ask for a copy of the assessment report, this will give you some idea what the decision is likely to be as they mostly go with the report.laney1970 said:Does anyone know how long it takes for a decision to be made in what group I will be in

Hi I received my medical report very confusing0

It says I advise the client meets the criteria for limited capability for work and work related activity then in the next bit of letter it says instability in mental health likely to deteriorate under added pressure or stress such as been asked to engage in work or work related activity does that mean there advising I stay in wrag on move back to support group0

That's Support Group recommendation. Usually they go with the report, it's very rare to go against it. You do need to wait for the decision though.

They word it differently now and Support Group is Limited capability for work related activity (LCWRA) Seems like it's reg 35.
