hi all, well after a long time from when I first rec’d my letter to apply for pip from forms getting lost in the post etc, I rec’d a phone call y’day from capita asking could I attend my assessment this wk at a centre, I stated no I could not I stated on my form for a home visit,I  they z that they would then post me an apt out but cannot guarantee that this will be a home visit, she z I have 2 times of turning it down & then I would have my money stopped. I am seeing my doctor on Thursday would a doctors letter help, can someone advise me. I have never felt  as stressed in all my life.  Thankyou all.

    I say get as much proof as possible.

    So doctors letter/report could be invaluable. 

    Good luck and try keep yourself occupied.

    If you attend other appointments like your GP etc then it's possible that they could say that because you attend your other appointments then why can't you attend the assessment centre. So, a letter from your GP doesn't always help.
    I would appreciate it if members wouldn't tag me please. I have all notifcations turned off and wouldn't want a member thinking i'm being rude by not replying.
    If i see a question that i know the answer to i will try my best to help.
