UC and carers allowance

I've also recently claimed carers allowance after having to resign from work to look after my mum. I have two children and one due soon, so had to also claim universal credit. (Not enough for any family to live on either!)
It's as simple as this...you lose out regardless with uc. They take every penny of CA out your money and pay you a carers premium of £156 a month instead so you don't keep a penny of CA. Instead your £123 a month down!! Than if you were able to keep CA without the premium UC pay you.
System is a disgrace!
