Got home visit not asked for, just out of the blue

Hopefully someone can give advice. Got a home visit next week, not asked for, just out of the blue, been getting PIP for just over a yr, got letter this week to confirm.... can anyone shed some light pls. Worried. Thanks in advance spoton

Hi,Sometimes there's enough evidence to do a home visit rather then you go to them. Home visits don't really mean anything other than they are coming to you instead. Wait a week after the assessment then if you live in the UK give DWP a ring to request a copy of the assessment report. This will give you some idea what the decision is likely to be because they mostly go with the report. Good luck.I would appreciate it if members wouldn't tag me please.
