Got home visit not asked for, just out of the blue

Hopefully someone can give advice. Got a home visit next week, not asked for, just out of the blue, been getting PIP for just over a yr, got letter this week to confirm.... can anyone shed some light pls. Worried. Thanks in advance spoton

    Hi,

    Sometimes there's enough evidence to do a home visit rather then you go to them. Home visits don't really mean anything other than they are coming to you instead. Wait a week after the assessment then if you live in the UK give DWP a ring to request a copy of the assessment report. This will give you some idea what the decision is likely to be because they mostly go with the report. Good luck.
