Hello , there is no time scale on when you will get award notification letter, but there is nothing stopping you from requesting  your assessment report which everyone shoud request about a week after your assessment. On receiving the report you will be able to work out what your award may should be as the decision makers mostly go by the assessors report.

hi all had my award notice just in the post i have never read such utter rubbish in all my life ,  the whole report is based on physical health and not mental health which is what i claimed for . The whole report is not true stateing at one point i was viewed walking round house when i ever got of sofa the whole time she was here , i answered all the questions promptly and on my own i answered one question , it states no input from husband who was present at interview he answered every question for me bar 1 , it states i dont have any mental health problems although i am on medication i dont see any specialist , im under MIND , she was told i couldnt take medication or cook because of panic attacks and in report it states i can do all of them , and the mobility was i dont have any physical condition to stop me walking , i suffer from panic attacks and anxiety thats why i dont go out on my own not because of a physical condition ............... can anyone help please ,

    Hi,

Is that the decision letter or the assessment report? If it's the assessment report have you compared the dots/ticks in the boxes against the PIP descriptors to see what score, if any is recommended? You still need to wait for the decision but they mostly go with the report, it's rare to go against it.

Once the decision is made you have 1 month from that date to request the mandatory reconsideration. You should put this in writing stating where you think you should have scored those points and your reasons why. Adding 2-3 examples of what happened the last time you attempted that activity for each descriptor that applies to you.

You should avoid mentioning any lies that may have been told in the report because DWP and the Tribunal won't be interested in any of those. Complaints about the report should be made to the health assessment providers.
I would appreciate it if members wouldn't tag me please. I have all notifcations turned off and wouldn't want a member thinking i'm being rude by not replying.
If i see a question that i know the answer to i will try my best to help.

hi poppy thanks for reply its decision letter . I dont think its fair when the whole report has been done on physical condition and not mental health . Everything that was explained to her about my condition she has noted it to be physical . I sat on my sofa for the whole hour ad didnt move whe she entered room to her leaving and she states i mobilised well walking round living room ... im sorry poppy its wrong , im having up to 4-5 panic attacks  day , severe anxiety , under mind . I will be writing to health assessment providers can i have another assesment with someone else .

Woah, that's what happened with my assessment.. I was originally awarded enhanced based pretty much on mental health bar 8 points in mobility, this assessor well lets just say he's trying to make out I have no mental health problems lol and yet I've had way more treatment for it than I have my physical health, the award looks like its now going to be standard based on physical health.

I'll be putting in a complaint when I get the decision letter with the help of Welfare Rights and obviously an MR if I need to. I think it's up to Capita if you have another assessment? I'm not 100% sure though.

It's the decision maker that decided whether another assessment is needed but it's rare for this to happen. You will need to request the MR as your next step.
