Asking for appeal adjournment

Hi all can you help. I am still waiting for specialist reports from 2 different consultants and my appeal is next week. Can I ask for the appeal to be moved to a different date so I have all relevant evidence I need or is that the only date they will offer me ??

    No I didn't. I was let down on the morning of appeal by person helping me and taking me so had to phone and tell them I couldn't appear. Was told that they may have hearing without me or adjourn but will let me know through letter which I'm dreading to receive. .

    Thank you, will update as soon as I get any news I'm sure I will be needing more advice at some point. Felt so alone in this fight until I found this forum as noone else I know has had to go through any of it. All help  advice and support is greatly appreciated. Thank you @Chloe_Scope

    Just an update on my appeal as I was unable to attend due to being let down by person taking me the the judge as adjourned my case in the interest of justice. Unfortunately they cannot give me a date atm so I guess it's a case of waiting again. I'm grateful that at least they have given an adjournment rather than dismissing the case completely in the favour of dwp. @Chloe_Scope
