Bob was lost in the woods.

    Fortunately, they had a compass.
Unfortunately, his glasses were right at the bottom of his bag and he couldn't actually read the compass!

@Chloe_Scope C'mon, get in the spirit.

    Unfortunately, the compass was broken.
Fortunately, he had pricked his finger on the needle and could follow the trail of blood back home

Unfortunately, his proof of insurance was in the destroyed house
Fortunately, he was an underwriter for said insurance company, the building for which housed his office is apocalypse proof and could recover a copy of his policy which was also apocalypse proof as was his car and the route to get there.
Unfortunately, the keys to his car and office were liquified in the heat of the fire.

Fortunately he was smart. Unfortunately he was blind and couldn’t see the front door.

Fortunately the new house had been adapted to suit his disability. After all you can lead a horse to water but a pencil must be lead. lol.

A pencil must be graphite :p

Plothole Alert: @April2018mom "Unfortunately he was blind and couldn’t see the front door"
Correction: "Unfortunately he became blind when stumbling into the plothole and hitting his head and couldn’t see the front door"

Unfortunatley, due to a missunderstanding of his disability thinking he had been blindsided by a squirrel after Bob had accidentally crushing one of its nuts when stumbling out of the woods and the squirrel retaliating by kneecapping Bob, the builder (Bob, the builder - see what i did there  >:) ) of his new home mistakenly installed a state-of-the-art secruity sytem with a retinal scanner

Hello @GettinOlde Just hate to see some one wasting food like nuts. That is all . Very important part of the diet.

Excellent for health.  I wonder why Squirrels run around all the time . Probably because of eating nuts.

Something I eat all the time.  Love PNB  Walnuts, Almonds in my sweets and pudding.

    Take care.

Unfortunately he did not know the strength he had from his superpowers causing some of the gadgets to burn out and not work

Unfortunately when he went shopping because of his blindness . None of the tins he could not identify.   Had no braille signs marks on the tins.

    Took him ages to shop.

Fortunately, one of the gadgets he had previously received is a bionic assistance dog who could read Braille on his behalf.
Unfortunately, Muttley had not been fully charged.
