Hello,
My daughter is on PIP and ESA. We are waiting to go to a tribunal re ESA, they think she should be in the work related group. Eloise, my daughter sufferered a severe head injury and is selective mute...
This morning, I received a Local Service Compliance Interview asking to be prepared with statements...pension, wage slips...etc. Eloise does not work but volunteers in a cafe.
are Compliance interview random ? What do they really want to know? It is concerning as we have had a year of assessments plus tribunal..all very unsettling.

Hi Monique and welcome
LSCI can be random or can be the result of a report. Usually they are just checking that all is as it should be and the correct benefits are being received.

Thank you...it is still worrying!

You can’t help but worry but just try your best getting all your paperwork together. Be interested to know whose doing it. I got investigated wrongly by inland revenue so I understand. It was a contracted out company doing it.

Thank you Debbie

I too had a compliance call interview and the info that was given was incorrect I have to send in my last wage slip but she didn’t say if the case was closed left me confused
-
I had one last year. The purpose was to check I was really entitled to the money. I asked a lot of questions. What is the point of such a call anyway? I complained to my local council but there is very little they can do to stop it happening.

Hi @Liz99, I imagine this was confusing! Were you not given any other information?
