    HI,

    There's no timescales, it depends on backlog in your area.

    Most people have face to face assessments so expect one of these. It's rare to have a paper based assessment.
    I would appreciate it if members wouldn't tag me please. I have all notifcations turned off and wouldn't want a member thinking i'm being rude by not replying.

    There are no timescales.
    It depends on the backlog for your area. To answer your other question more than often they carry out a face to face assessment. Paper based ones are rare.

    Hello, I can't remember exactly but it took about 8-10 weeks for mine to come through. I got it all backdated from the date they received the form,

    ESA isn't backdated from the date they receive the form. It's backdated from the 14th week of the claim, if successfully placed into the support group.
