I have bpd and possible autism as well as i have serious social issues. I get lonely, paranoid and depressed as i cannot work anymore and not working I think has seemed to make my sadness worse. I try to look on the 'bright side' and at nature etc but even find this melancholy. What advice do you have for me where i could have company maybe a few times a week? Or help others somehow and get company that way/feel less cut off and sad? I am on pip and esa btw

Hi, just to add to what Woodbine and April2018mom said here are some links to websites you can look at:
Do It lets you search for volunteering roles UK wide
https://do-it.org/
This site also has a variety of volunteer roles
https://www.charityjob.co.uk/volunteer-jobs
You could also check out any local community centres for anything that might interest you.

Okay i will have a look at these. I have had bad past life experiences with some people too so that's another reason why I dislike alot of people i expect but I am not sure of a 'way out' sometimes that's how i tend to feel as i cannot be with people constantly but i also can't be constantly alone either aa it makes me more paranoid
