I don't personally have any children named after my favourite Disney characters, but after reading this, I think I need to have a very important conversation with my other half about having a little 'Wall-E'.A study by travel company Florida4Less, has found that more than a million (1.05 million) people in the UK are named after Disney characters.
The research revealed that names taken from animated classics such as Toy Story, The Hunchback of Notre Dame and Beauty and the Beast have rocketed in popularity since the turn of the last decade.
Those most keen to name their child after a Disney character were 18 to 34-year-olds, with three in 10 being pro-Disney.

Would you ever consider naming your child after a fictional character? If you could only be named after a Disney character, what would your name be?

We wouldn't consider Disney names, but Marvel names...yes! Then again, Marvel is a part of Disney ? hmm...that quickly backfired!Disability Gamechanger - 2019

Does that mean we can include Star Wars too?
I guess I'm renaming my youngest...

In 2016 I was having a discussion one day and decided to name our daughter Minnie after Minnie Mouse. Fortunately I never did as my partner instantly rebuffed my ridiculous name choice (I was drunk, we were enroute to LA from NYC at the time). I was 4 months pregnant.

Jasmine is a nice name, as in Princess Jasmine, from Aladdin.Winner of the Scope New Volunteer Award 2019.

Jasmine is apparently the most popular Disney-inspired name for girls in the UK. So, you're not alone in thinking that @Ails!Community Manager
