care assessment

I have asked for a new care assessment, as we (hubby and me) are struggling with the current one....it was done in 2014. My carers are urging me to seek a re-assessment. I have contacted Social Services for this and it has been passed to the relevant section.
I know from past experience, that I will be told beforehand that there is a possibility I may lose some of my present care. This is their policy, but have you ever heard of anything more rediculous?
I am prompted to write this post after reading about someone who has lost points on their PIP tribunal, which their assessor gave them at their f2f.
We are held over a barrel in a very unfair system and there`s not a single sausage we can do about it.
No wonder our heads are mashed!
