when they to pip appal courts it got ajorned for further evidence I posted all evidence they got a call two weeks later saying I’d been awarded pip both components and I didn’t need to go to court on 22nd they will let them know they made a decision the month later appeals court still had appeal and letter said I had not been awarded pip .  Rang and explained this to pip they said the lady who deals with decisions didn’t put your NI number and case number on email and this is why they got mixed up and not got the award threw .so I’m now still waiting for pip to sort there mistake out plus I’ve had all back pay for a year I just hope I don’t have all this to pay back

Rang pIP they explained the lady who sent to papers to courts of there awarded to me had not put NI number and case number and that’s confuseion had lead to they going a head nit realising you had neen awarded it . So now they to get the courts to over turn there decisionamd there sorry the lady did not complete the form correctly I’m still waiting four weeks later know further forward

    @Liz99 - if I read this correctly the tribunal have not awarded you PIP but, a month earlier, DWP had started payment and paid arrears.

    If they've made a mistake and you're not entitled to the money, I imagine that would ask for the money to be repaid.

    Might be best ringing them to ask, or getting advice F2F locally?

    got awarded pip after posting all medical evidence after being adjourned for more evidence at apeal courts was happy finally got award letter both components and I didn’t have to go bk to apeal on 22nd.got all bk pay for last years them got letter they still had apeal and I’ve not beeen award it !! Confused I rang pip they said the lady that was emailing papers to apeal court did not put my NI number on and this is why the mix up and they did not know they made a decision with the new evidence so know four weeks on waiting for pip to get this over turned they did apologise and say the lady will get spoke to over this mistake not filling the former in correctly.

    @liz99 - sorry I don't understand your last post...

    If you mean that the DWP awarded you PIP but the tribunal didn't then surely this won't be a problem?

    Sorry if I'm missing something...

    Hi @Liz99.
    I've merged another of your posts with this one as I think it explained the situation a little clearer. Can I check if I'm understanding correctly?

    You had an appeal for your PIP but it was adjourned for further evidence. After sending the extra evidence, the DWP decided to award your PIP, so you received your back-pay and payments were reinstated.
    However, when they sent that information to the tribunal service, they didn't complete the form properly, so the tribunal service were not aware you had your PIP back and no longer needed the tribunal. The tribunal then took place without you, and at that tribunal, they decided not to award you PIP.

    Is that correct?

    @Adrian_Scope @poppy123456 @Liz99

    It would seem to be an easy (!) matter to sort out - DWP can just do a review, overturn the tribunal and give you PIP.

    The only problem would be the arrears
