I m French. I m alone. Have a disable daughter of 11 years old. It is difficult for us. Her wheelchair is small and it is broken. We are leaving on first floor of a building without stairs. I haven t got any benefits because I can t found a work for 8h30 to 3h30. It is only me who cares of my daughter. Financially it is hard. I need help.

Depending on circumstances you maybe able to claim Universal Credit as you have pre settled status, which will allow you to claim benefits.Universal credit is a means tested benefit so claiming this will depend on circumstances. If you live with a partner then you'll need to claim as a couple. https://www.turn2us.org.uk/Benefit-guides/Universal-Credit/What-is-Universal-CreditUniversal credit is one monthly payment, which will include help with rent, if you're renting your home, a child element amount for your daughter and a standard living allowance for yourself. Once you claim this benefit you will have to wait 5 weeks for your first payment.May i ask if you work at the moment? Are you renting your home? If you are renting it may i ask who pays the rent? i see you're not claiming any benefits.There's also DLA that you could apply for, for your daughter. It's a disability benefit for children under the age of 16. Did you apply for UC before you pre settlement status or after?
