Where can I get some aids? I find it hard to eat with normal cutlery

Hi everyone . I’m new so please bear with me, I was wondering if anyone could direct me in right direction to get some aids . I have arthritis in my knees hips and hands and find it hard to eat with normal cutlery , I have walking aids thanks in advance

Hi @omega0115 - Welcome to the community from me too! I have osteoarthrosis & have bought items from the shop Ami mentions a few times in the past. The other good thing about them is you can get items without paying VAT with a simple form they ask you to complete.

Hi @omega0115
You could contact your local social services, to request a home assessment, by one of their OT.
They have a statuary duty to undertake such an assessment and funding of £1,000 is provided for any equipment or adaptation, that are identified.
