Hi @juliaparry24 welcome to the forum here at scope. It's nice to meet you. I'm Tammy, one of the volunteer community champions.. I'm Here to support, advise and support you and other members. If you have any questions please don't hesitate to ask. Thankyou for sharing a little about yourself. Thankyou for your suggestion. It's very helpful. I'm very sorry that you've lost your job, I've been in that situation before and I know how it can effect your self esteem especially if you have a disability and then have to cope with the struggles of general life.
I hope things go as well as possible with your disability assessment.
Speak soon, take care.

@Tammyjane33
I used to be a self employed pet carer and gardener. Unfortunately it didnt pay much, but I loved it. -
I used to work as a leaflet maker. Now I do babysitting and teach first aid classes.
-
Thanks @Tammyjane33 I'm still waiting for the letter to go to the assessment

I had a job I loved. Being in charge of Tourist \information centres..in Halifax and Hebden Bridge.
We had such chances to learn about areas other than our own and meet people from all over the world.
It was fun. I had to leave 20 years ago, through ill health. I enjoyed 12 years there.
Now I offer support to people on various on line groups.

That sounds like a great job @pollyanna1052, and not too far away from me!
