    HI and welcome,

I do know that there's huge backlogs in most areas and lots are waiting about a year for a here date BUT some are waiting in excess of 1 year. You could ring HMCTS and ask them approximately how much longer will you have to wait and they will tell you, Do be aware that it will still be just a guide but at least you'll have some idea.

I hope you're not waiting too much longer.

    Thank you

I did ring the tribunal office which is on letter and they gave me estimate of 70 weeks... I am currently at that but no sign ...will ring them again ..I always get upset just ringing them as I have no idea what to expect.. I have never been in a court house and I have high anxiety anyway ...among another 20 or so diagnosed ailments...
I just wish the system was fair...
I know so many people that have high rate care and mobility awards and aren't entitled to it really but lies and acting along with family.and good set.up have got it ...I hate being like I am ... I have debilitating disease / chronic pain  which means I cànt even get.out of bed some days and if I do it's very limiting..I have to walk with sticks or in wheelchair all of time and cant be left alone b... I mainly.have 1 day a week where I can manage to leave house for short time so I try to have all appointments arranged for late afternoons and / or same day.... I have been like this for 7 odd years now and was awarded p.i.p  at high rates for both care / mobility 1st application with only 10 A4 pieces of paper as medical evidence....
2nd I was reviewed with over 350 A4 pieces medical evidence and confirmation from pain specialists and got awarded low rates in both
...kind of buggers belief!! I have read that assessor get bonus for taken people down a level on p.i.p ...I think that's disgusting and I would like to know that if applicant then went to tribunal.and got decision reversed do assessors have to pay money back?  If they dont sadly this farce we face will never stop ...... so sorry for long post I have added to this s few times during night lol ....

I'm sorry to hear that. I must admit 350 pages of evidence is a huge amount to send and really isn't needed. It could have been that some pieces may have contradicted another piece. With evidence less is often more and the chances of them reading all of that would have been very slim. The first time you applied you only sent 10 pieces of evidence but were awarded Enhanced for both parts. I'm not sure why you sent so much for the review.

Please don't compare someone else to yourself. Invisible conditions do certainly exist. Lots of people with invisible conditions claim PIP successfully without any problems at all.

I'm not sure what you read or heard but the assessors do not receive any bonus's for not recommending points, so there's no money for them to pay back if a claimant goes onto to have an award at a Tribunal.

Do you have someone to go with you on the day of the hearing, maybe a family member or a friend?

Hi yes my daughter is coming with me.
I have sent more as I have more diagnosed since 1st application...
I have fibromyalgia so I do know about invisible illnesses...when i applied 1st time i had a couple of diagnosis so now have around 20 diagnosed so sent medical evidence of everything...
I have 2 relatives that for example claim higher rate than probably most people and certainly dont have the problems they state they do ...I was present when 1 of them "set up" their front room with sticks ..wheelchair and sides ready for assessor claimed they couldn't move hardly and wasnt even examined and then as soon as assessor went got up cleared it all away and went to the pub dancing !!! So yes bare faced lies
The other has I.b.s is a 19 year old who doesn't take medication and drinks and takes drugs ...
I would not be the only person who thinks this is wrong and assessor who saw person  and p.i.p who awarded is clearly not doing their job properly??
I may sound bitter but there are people worse off than myself who even get less than these were awarded ....why do we not get given a honest chance and properly review  assessed .

Considering how you have dealt with the claim already by sending all of that paperwork have you not considered that the position that you find yourself in could well be self inflicted?
If you are approaching the Tribunal on the basis that more reports means that it must give a better outcome, are you expecting the Tribunal to read all of that documentation? Less is more in cases like this. A short 2 page submission and maybe a couple of letters as evidence that are to the point and relevant to the descriptors you are claiming is all you need.
