Has anyone on here been diagnosed with oesophageal dysmotility if you have it would be great to hear from you.

Hello and welcome to the community its nice to have new people on here. I don't have any experience of the condition you mention but am sure some of our members will have experience of this

Hi do you mean your oesophagus doesn't move food down..ie no muscle action as in peristalsis?

The top part of the oesophagus goes into spasm and further down it is not working as it should. I am ok with liquid but can only eat semi solid food.

Have you had advice from SALT? ie speech and swallowing therapy......they came to my home re choking problems and gave me exercises which do help.

Hi I am not too bad. Hoping I don't get letter from NHS England as I have got COPD along with many other conditions.
