How do I appeal a Tribunal PIP Decision?

Hey.. I'm new to this forum and really need some advice. 

Please could someone tell me how I appeal to the Tribunal pip decision? I've rang the tribunal today and was advised to write a letter asking for the "statement of reasons, (SOR)" 
I have not been sent anything other than a letter saying I was not entitled to it. I scored 6 on daily living and 4 points on the mobility. 
When I have looked through my documentation I've been awarded less on some daily living. When the advice and information given says they go with the highest points when both situations apply. 

Any help will be much appreciated. I'm not sure what to write in the letter to request the SOR? Would I need to give a reason to why I'm requesting the SOR?

    HI and welcome,

    When requesting the SOR you don't need to give a reason, you just need to request this alone with the record of proceedings (ROP)

    Once you receive these you need to find someone to have a look at see if they can find an error in law. If that's not found then you won't be able to appeal the decision.

    There's no timescales how long it will take to receive the SOR and ROP but once they are sent you'll have 1 month from that date.

    It sounds stupid but do I just write 
    It as simple as that ? I know I have to have the court address and case number etc. I'm just unsure what to put in the letter. I think I overthinking it.

    Yes, it's as simple as that. You don't need a reason to request either of those.

    Your decision letter outlines the steps to take, and how to request a SAR.
    In your letter also ask for a copy of the judge's written notes.

    Be aware that if you challenge the decision to the Upper Tribunal it has to be on a error on law within the S of R.
    See if your local advice agency has anyone with the expertise to help you with this step - it is quite specialist.

    There is another very recent thread on this topic about errors in law and FTT decisions in the PIP section - it would be worth you while reading it. Sorry, but I can't work out how to search my previous posts in order to find and link to this particular thread.
