If I take in a tenant who is self employed and wants to claim UC, knock out my benefits. (PIPs and ESA)

    HI,

PIP won't be affected. If you're claiming ESA and it's income related then any rent you receive from a tenant will affect your ESA. If you're living alone at the moment then it could affect any SDP you maybe claiming.

If you're claiming the 25% reduction in council tax as a single person at the moment then you will lose that too if you take on a tenant.
I would appreciate it if members wouldn't tag me please. I have all notifcations turned off and wouldn't want a member thinking i'm being rude by not replying.
If i see a question that i know the answer to i will try my best to help.
