    And did they tell you that you continue to have appeal rights?

    You can accept the offer; get benefit into payment and then appeal anyway. 
    Strangely enough, no, they didn't mention that.  Am I right in assuming that this would be a case of requesting a mandatory reconsideration of the new decision, and then opening a new appeal?  Either way, it's definitely something I'll go over with my wife and see if she wants to push for enhanced daily living.  It'd be far less stressful if we already have the benefit in payment.

    You'll get a letter confirming your award, and on that it says about appealing
