Hi
I’ve recently discovered my pip end date is 7th may and I’ve just had a phone assessment and was told I should hear the outcome within 8 weeks
my question is because it’s due to end will it overlap until the decision is made

Hello @SA1966. I believe they've given a 3 month extension to claims due to end in this period which should hopefully cover you until a decision is made. It may be worth getting in touch with them to clarify though.

Thank you so much for you’re advice
yes I’ll contact them
Do I ring DWP or PIP ? -
PIP is a part of the DWP @SA1966. Contact the PIP helpline and just ask them to clarify whether the extension will apply to you as you've had your assessment but the decision won't be back in time.Community Manager
