Hi no pip does not help with housing benefit as you can work and still get pip. If you have no income then it would be universal credit you would also claim that helps with housing benefit.

Hi @hogan28 and welcome to the Community. It's nice to meet you. I'm sorry to hear about your present circumstances and hope you are doing ok. Please find some Scope information on PIP which you may find useful - https://www.scope.org.uk/advice-and-support/personal-independence-payment-pip/
Good luck with your PIP claim and returning to your uni course also. Please keep in touch and let us know how you are getting on. If we can be of any help/support to you then please just ask. All the best.Winner of the Scope New Volunteer Award 2019. -
I don't know enough to answer that.It really depends on your circumstances.

Hi @hogan28 - Welcome to the community from me too. As well as the PIP info Ails has given, there's also some on Housing Benefit. See: https://www.scope.org.uk/advice-and-support/housing-benefit/& from the government website: https://www.gov.uk/housing-benefitAlso some info on being at Uni: https://www.scope.org.uk/advice-and-support/education/university-and-higher-education/I believe that being a student can complicate benefits, so perhaps the Uni may be able to advise.Good luck with everything, & chat here any time.
