Hello I’m new here. I wondered if anyone has been admitted urgently for MG swallowing problems. Thus far my MG has been only occurs. I’ve had 5 days IVIG treatment and have been an inpatient for 9 days now. I had a minor op under general anaesthetic 11 days ago and have 5 other autoimmune conditions. Any comments/ advice appreciated. Thanks

Welcome to the community @Jo07387 Thank you for joining us!
This post is a few years old now, but I hope that someone with a similar experience to you will see and respond to your comment soon.
I'm sorry to hear that you've been unwell. How are you finding the IVIG treatment? -
Hi Tori The ivig worked very quickly for me and I now feel back to normal almost. No side effect from infusions apart from headache. NHS were fantastic and started treatment as soon as I arrived in A&E. though still waiting to be assessed before discharge. Thanks for forwarding the attached

That's good to hear @Jo07387 Do you know how long it might be until you can have the assessment?
