Hi, my son had his pip stopped in March so my carers did too. He has just been awarded it back. Will I have to re apply for carers?  Thank you

    I'm assuming that's the case as one part of the DWP rarely knows what the other parts are doing even in normal times.

    Hi @Lou47. They sometimes just 'suspend' Carer's Allowance rather than completing stopping the claim so hopefully it should be quite quick to get it reinstated. Give them a call. :)
