Existing DLA claims are extended by 6 months due to the corona pandemic.

I haven’t had a letter to say that it’s been extended. So I figured because it’s November that the current claim ends they must not be working that far in advance?

Hi as you assume they are behind sending our forms which normally come 6 months prior to award ending if won through DWP if it was won at tribunal its 14 weeks before.
However they are not currently dealing with the renewals and if an assessment hasn't already taken place before award ends then it will be extended by 6 months
Hope this helps
