LCWRA backdating query

Hi I've been awarded lcwra from universal credit backdated from Oct 18 and payment to be backdated from Jan 19 taking in the 3 mth asse period. My first payment is due Aug the 1st 2020 and is on my statement now but they owe me 18 mths backpay still when will I expect to receive this please????

HI and welcome,Backdated money is usually paid separately to your usual monthly payment. This is because they have to calculate how much they owe you first. Once it's calculated it will be uploaded onto your journal. How much backdated money they owe you will depend on when your assessment period dates are and when you first sent your first fit note because it's 3 full assessment periods of waiting time.I would appreciate it if members wouldn't tag me please. I have all notifcations turned off and wouldn't want a member thinking i'm being rude by not replying.If i see a question that i know the answer to i will try my best to help.
