HI,You will need the fit note. A claim for New style ESA is currently taking about 4-5 weeks.I would appreciate it if members wouldn't tag me please. I have all notifcations turned off and wouldn't want a member thinking i'm being rude by not replying. If i see a question that i know the answer to i will try my best to help.

hi thank you for your advice sorry I mean I’ve got my fit note but not sure if I have to send it somewhere or wait until I’ve been contacted by ESA ?

They will write to you, in the next few weeks. I've also looked back at your other threads and i see that you're claiming Universal Credit, is that correct? If so then you won't be financially better off by claiming both of these together because the New style ESA is deducted in full from your UC entitlement. The only difference is that New style ESA pays class 1 NI credits and isn't means tested. UC pay Class 3 and is means tested, so savings/capital affect the amount the you're entitled to.I would appreciate it if members wouldn't tag me please. I have all notifcations turned off and wouldn't want a member thinking i'm being rude by not replying. If i see a question that i know the answer to i will try my best to help.
