Suddenly am having problems with one of my Twitters, I don't know how they could possibly think that I am under 13. They want me to download my Birth Certificate or something but I am at home without a Scanner. Does anyone know what to do? Could it indeed be a disability issue? Someone with problems like me, very difficult to download one of those things they've asked for.

Hello @m_burrell82
This sounds tricky. I wonder if you would be able to take a photograph of your birth certificate using a webcam or mobile phone that you could then send them?
If that is a bit of a struggle, I would email back explaining that due to your impairment you are unable to send it and ask if they have other options for verifying your age.

Is it definitely from Twitter and not a scam? I don't like the idea of sending personal info like that to anyone you don't know.

#OverlyAnxious It would have to be. I couldn't get in to that Twitter and had to use another Browser to get into my other Twitter accounts.

Hi I would be very careful providing any information it doesnt sound quite right to me but then again I dont have any knowledge of twitter.
As suggested you could take a pic of your birth cert on your phone and then send it as an attachment on email from your phone
Hope you get something sorted -
Hi @m_burrell82, have they locked you out of your account?
Scope -
#Chloe_Scope They have but as I've said I can go to another Browser to get into my other Twitter accounts, even tried to send a message from one of them to their TwitterSupport account. Still I have a friend I connect to on these things. I'll see what she wants to do and maybe leave it as that.

#Ross_Scope I would think so. I always like to put my info where I can and always correctly.

It's a strange one then @m_burrell82, I've not heard of anything like this happening before.
You might find this Twitter page about age screening, and this other about parental controls helpful, they both contain details about Twitter's policies surrounding age and might shed some light on what's happening to you.
Hope this helps. .

Really odd @m_burrell82!
This did happen to me about a year ago and I had to fill out this form, I then got my account back. Might be worth a try...Scope -
Thanks - I've sent form in.

Hi! Just a thought I was looking in Ancestry and put my mother-in-law maiden name. Eunice Margaret Hodge and since Eunice is an odd name I didn't think anyone else would come up but it did! This lady was born 9 years after Mother. Eunice Margaret Hodge. Could somebody have the same name as you and if they have could you identity's got mixed up somehow?

Denise11 Well there is certainly a lot of Mark Burrell's so could be. At least I have other Twitters but I still need to go to a different Browser.
