hi I was awarded stardard rate living component and enchanced rate mobility of pip in feb 2017..due to mix up with universal credit I am now finally on esa..can I back date my severe disabily premium to feb 2019 .

HI and welcome,Are you saying that you were previously claiming UC and now you're claiming Income Related ESA? Or is it New style ESA you're claiming?I would appreciate it if members wouldn't tag me please. I have all notifcations turned off and wouldn't want a member thinking i'm being rude by not replying.If i see a question that i know the answer to i will try my best to help.

You were always on the correct benefit but you just haven't been assessed for the work capability assessment. There's no other benefits that you can claim other than New style ESA and UC but there's no financial gain when you're claiming them both at the same time.
