Hi and welcome I dont really have an answer but there is a fb group called outsiders which is for people to make new friends and dating
I will tag in our CP expert too who may offer more help
We also gave a weekly CP meeting on here held on mondays -
Welcome to the community @nickising I'm sorry to hear that you're worried, but we're here to try and help.
As Jane said, @Richard_Scope is our Specialist Information Officer for cerebral palsy, so I'm sure he'll have some advice for you. I'll also tag in @Chloe_Scope.
Have you or your daughter ever heard of CP Teens? They're a really great charity for young people with CP! -
Hi @nickising - Welcome to the community. I think it may be the Outsiders club that Jane mentioned above: https://www.outsiders.org.uk/outsidersclub/club/the-outsiders-club/ which I've heard good about. Unfortunately the CP Online Cafe on Mondays currently is for those who are 25+.

I believe the age limit has been changed to 20+ now @chiarieds, but your point stands.
-
Thank you for the update @Tori_Scope - the link on this page & post about the Cafe perhaps need changing then?
-
Hi @nickising
Good to meet you!
What sort of thing interests your daughter? When you say that she struggles to maintain friendships, how does that appear?
Your daughter would be very welcome to join us here on the community and CP Teens are very very good too.Scope

Apologies I missed this earlier @chiarieds! Do you mean this post?
-
Yes, @Tori_Scope , & also the link to the CP Cafe, which appears to the right for me on this page in a green box using a PC, but which may appear elsewhere for those connecting differently. If the age limit has changed, I've missed this, but perhaps updating things will show somewhat younger people with CP that they can now join in.

Ahh yes, on the messages down the side. Good spot @chiarieds! Thanks. We'll get on that tomorrow

I have mild CP too. CP Teens UK is a great organisation. What does your daughter enjoy doing?Scope -
HI @Chloe_Scope
She loves music....especially kylie minogue :-) she loves netflix, especially things like Glee -
-
Does she enjoy singing @nickising? Would joining a virtual choir interest her at all?

Could I join it to?
I am wanting to make new friends around my area which is Derby or around
In Derby there isn’t a lot of youth clubs to go to and to make friends with some similarities to me if that makes sense?
Hope you are all well and safe ? -
Hi @GingerNinja2020 - Here's the link to the Outsider's club, which of course you could join. Please see: https://www.outsiders.org.uk/outsidersclub/club/the-outsiders-club/It's an online community, but they do hold lunches for people to meet, which may not be happening right now due to Covid-19, but I hope you feel it's still worth looking into.

I love to be friends with her
I have learning disabilities, heart murmur and speech problems sometimes
Have you tried any local youth clubs?
Tried any Facebook groups that are local or in the same country?
Hope this would help ? -
Hi @GingerNinja2020 - East Midlands does include Derbyshire.
