1-1 in classroom 15hrs cut 12due to paperwork??

Hi everyone please advise on this?
I’m posting this for my daughter she forwarded it to me...
Does anyone have any experience where there children need full 1-1 support and get a short amount of hours through an ehcp, and know if there’s a way to get 1-1 support funding if you pay for extra nursery hours. I’m a single parent of 4 year old twins one with gmsf level 5 quad cp, and they only entitle them to 15 hours, 12 for my twin with cp as 3 hours of the 15 is paperwork. I am struggling to cope after the lockdown so have increased there hours and they are giving my twin with cp 8 hours 1-1 extra with paying just the same nursery fees as I do for her twin. This means though my twin with cp needs one day a week off unless I can cover normal nursery fees plus 1-1 wages, the nursery are helping all they can and I’m eternally grateful. However it just doesn’t seem fair that parents of children who need 1-1 support must cover nursery fees and 1-1 wages. I’m happy to cover the fees but feel there should be funding to cover 1-1 wages I guess this was both an enquiry and a rant as I’m sick of never having received any help or support. I was sent home 6 days after having my twins, with two newborns, one with severe needs, and literally no support or anything. Traumatised from my pregnancy and birth as my daughter was delivered a diagnosis of no hope, for a 7 hour brain surgery at 7 days old, and then almost died before I’d even got to hold her. And now I’ve finally did it and got them to 4, it’s still a battle for help. I feel bad moaning with all going on but after all this time I’ve had enough, if my daughter had gone to the local disabled school they would have funded 30 hours and 30 hours 1-1 support. But because I wanted them to have a final year today apparently they are still technically nursery children.

So what you are saying is that you have been asked to cover nursery fees and wages, for an additional day at nursery for your daughter?

So sorry, it just should not be this hard.
Have nursery signposted you to anyone with specific expertise? That sounds totally unfair that you're having to pay more because your child (grandchild) happens to have CP.
Does Scope have any specialists who could advise about this? @Cher_Scope? For example on the helpline? Or people you know?
On a slight tangent... How gorgeous are you grandkids? Aaaaahhhhhhhh they are our greatest challenge and greatest love aren't they xx

And are open Monday to Friday, 8am to 8pm. Saturday and Sunday, 10am to 6pm. And most bank holidays.
