Good afternoon all, I have a dilemma , my son is 20 with CP , we have been keeping him at home , he goes to residential college, due to Covid. I’m having trouble sending him back , fear is stopping me , what should I do ? Are any of you in the same position? Any advice would be appreciated.

Hi @Tree79 welcome in board
What are you fearful of in sending him back ? Is it your fear or his
I understand your apprehension I felt lost after my son went back to school in sept and that wasnt boarding either
It may be best in the long run for his development and experience -

I have been in touch with the college, they are in full PPE etc . I just feel so guilty, they have suggested he goes back next week, last before Christmas break . Thing is he can’t stay off indefinitely. Thanks

Sounds as though your son has made his decision. Have you been given an opportunity to read the colleges' Covid procedures?Scope
