Hi ive just filled out the online form for universal credit for my daughter who is severly autistic.

we are being asked to provide evidence for her id .We dont have any she just left school we have no passport or driving licence .What can i send them any help please anyone thanks

HI,Someone will contact you because face to face appointments are mostly suspended. Although it may take a few days for this to happen.1

Hi is there not a list of documents they will accept maybe a birth certificate would be acceptable1

Unfortunately, this doesn't work for everyone. My daughter and son in law claimed UC almost 5 weeks ago, just until she returns to work next month. While she verified her identity very easily it wasn't as easy for my son in law, even though he has a driving license. They did eventually ring him but it took a few days.

Thanks guy it did send me to gov website but cannot verify her .I carnt believe they just carnt look at child benefit system or pip or even tax credits she been on them since born .I sometimes woumder were the commen sence is with these systems.All these system in place no one uses like hitting a brick wall
