2, a hole.
3, turn on the first switch and leave on for half hour then turn off,then turn on the second switch and walk into the room. If the bulb is on it's the second switch,if the bulb is off and cold it's the third and if it's off and warm it's the first ? -
both are those are brilliant puzzles. I particularly like the lightbulb one!
