Chicken roast and all the trimmings is my usual Sunday.

@Sandy_123 can't wait till I can go watch it properly in a stadium instead of TV,but that can't be helped at the moment
@MarkN88 I had mine earlier mmm -
@Swatteam be nice to be able to do every thing we used to. I miss sitting in Costa on their comfy sofas.
-
@Sandy_123 or sitting on a cruise ours got cancelled twice last year but it will come again eventually
-
@Swatteam yeah well you can't beat that can you. Hopfull going to relax the rules march, weather getting nicer now so at least we can use our gardens
-
Microwave pizza and salad. Quick, easy and I need to empty my freezer
-
@coylygirl I need to use my freezer too. Sounds ideal tea, quick n simple I'm doing stew tomorrow need to take meat out
-
Oh I love a stew - beef? With dumplings?
-
No I'm doing a chicken one with dumplings
-
I don't cook as much as I should. I have to in the right mood! I made a goulash a couple of days ago and have got some veggies left that I need to use up so think I will do a lasagne tonight.
-
@deb74 that sounds nice, I seem to have gone off pasta, I'm not cooking I did a chicken biryani yesterday, so still have left overs.
-
I usually make large servings and put it in the freezer so it is ready for when I don't feel up to cooking. I have a feeling I will still have some veg left over after I have made the lasagne so I will have to have a think what I can do with any veg that is left over this time.
-
@deb74 it's a good idea to make more and freeze. Left over veg can be used up in pies or stews, or on roasts and Currys, stir frys.
-
I bought some sausages the other day I don't really like but I think I might put them in a casserole to use them up. I hate wasting food
-
@deb74 that sounds like a plan. Or a hot pot. I wish I had sausages in, I do love a sausage sandwhich, even veggy ones are nice.
-
Beef teriyaki stir Fry tonight with noodles nice and easy but very tasty

Cressida said:Slow cooked beef stew and dumplings with celeriac and potato mash. Followed by greek yogurt and forest fruit berries topped with granola. Unfortunately the stew won't be ready until 6 so I may end up eating the desert first......
