PIP Review, no response

Hello my wife has paranoid schizophrenia she struggles with every day life, she was due a review in January 2021 so sent back the review form of how her disability affects her in December 2020 sent evidence we are now in March 2021 and still no response evidence and form has been received whats the delay? Many thanks

Lots of delays at the moment.Information I post is for England unless otherwise stated. Rules may be different in other parts of UK.

Hi and welcome
The delay is most likely with the assessment provider and arranging an assessment date
They have backlogs as well as DWP backlogs
You could always give them a call to find out what is going on -
