DWP told me it's with the assessors now. How long could it be until I hear from them?

Hi there
Unfortunately it can take quite a long time some get appointments quickly others wait few months de9ends on backlogs in your area -
hi @siancarly welcome to scope, as @janer1967 says it depends on a number of factors, is this a PIP claim? if so is it a new claim or a renewal?2024 The year of the general election...the time for change is coming 💡

Hi sorry its a new pip claim. They said on the phone they received it off dwp 2 weeks ago.

As it's a new claim any award will be back-dated to when they received it.
It's impossible to even guess at how long you will have to wait, but there will be no harm in tele the assessors.2024 The year of the general election...the time for change is coming 💡 -
OK thanks for the advise
