Just wondered who will be watching the funeral service tomorrow for Ptince Phillip
I will watch it and I totally respect they are keeping to covid restrictions like everyone else who has had to say their final goodbyes to loved ones this last year

I also will be watching. And I agree observing Covid rules is a wonderful gesture and mark of respect to the whole nation. My thoughts this evening are with the Queen, bless her. But I’m sure tomorrow we will see the strong, dignified woman that we all know and love.

I’ll be watching too.

You know something i'm not sure, part of me says it's history so watch it, the other part says observe the minutes silence and let them say goodbye without me watching.2024 The year of the general election...the time for change is coming 💡

A good point @woodbine, but my oh will have it on so I’ll join her I reckon.

Was a good send off. I felt so sorry for the Queen just sat there on her own.
-
I agree @MarkN88 a good send off
The Queen looked very fragile I think and was struggling to walk only to be expected after what she has been through recently -
Yeah she looked pale and frail. I hope she gets support from her family, friends and staff and can eventually move on with doing the job she does so well.

I hope I am wrong I know she is strong but I think she will.deterioratd now she will be lost without him

Was a nice funeral, didn't think they would show inside for the service. Loved all the pomp, the gun fires, the bag pipes etc.

I feel it was a very fitting send off, as Prince Philip himself had planned. There was an understated pomp & ceremony about it. The Queen certainly looked fragile, &, like Jane, it crossed my mind that she may not be far behind him, as they were so close. I also hope I'm wrong.
