Using power tools Hammering and blocking the communal area with tools inc an ancal grander.near the door way he works right near the door making social distancing impossible. I have online meetings and course which are impossible to do . Due to the hammering noises. Which are very stressful I ve contacted my housing adoption who keep contacting but say he doesn't respon what can I do.

Hi there
I understand your frustration
Have you tried speaking to the neighbour and explaining and maybe agree on a time when he can avoid the noise to help you
Other would be contact council -
I'd keep on at your housing association till they get a response from him, it isn't fair that you have to put up with the constant noise. Keep a diary of when and where he is causing a nuisance to show them.

I have but sees complsintsasan inconvenience to him. We've already a letter saying to stop fixing motor bikes in communal area which he's ignored

I would keep reporting to the housing association and keep a diary, send this weekly to them to show what is going on.Noise sometimes can’t be helped but if you deem it to be at a level that would be described as anti social then you should report it.Read this citizens advice article it should help understand your rights and what to do next.
