Hi I am on pip High rate care for mantel health nothing for mobility i asked for a reconsidation got turned down I suffer from panic attacks anxiety stress ibs arthritis in both knees and feet bed back walk with a stick should I fight them

Hi @Gary1964 - & welcome to the community. May I suggest you have a look at the following link about the activities/descriptors that are looked at for PIP. If you then feel you might get sufficient points for the mobility component that may give you an award, then you're in a position to know whether it would be worth appealing. Please see: https://www.cambridgeshire.gov.uk/asset-library/Personal-Independence-Payment-Descriptors-and-Scores-April-2021.pdfPlease read the notes at the end, as you also need to be able to do an activity 'reliably' i.e. safely, to an acceptable standard, as often as you'd like, & in a reasonable period of time.

Hi looked at that b4 but the new rules concerning mantel heath says I should get pip mobility due to enxiety panick stress they give me enhanced care for these things but not mobility

Hi @Gary1964 - there has indeed been a change in PIP law about the 'Planning & following a journey' descriptor in the mobility component of PIP, but only if a claimant was perceived to suffer 'overwhelming psychological distress.'
