Universal credit have said they owe me money but they have sent it to debt management?? I’m honestly so confused!

They do this if there has been any over payments of other benefits or any debts to recover
It doesn't always mean anything and if you have no debts to them nothing to worry about
But they sometimes find stuff from years ago or something you wasn't even aware of
You can really only wait to see or contact them
You can challenge if they try to recover debt -
I have a child tax credit overpayment. So I’m guessing it will all go to that! Even though I’m arranging to pay it separately. That majorly sucks
