    @edikie234 - what exactly are your concerns? Perhaps these should be discussed with your GP or specialist. The medical literature suggests that the Covid-19 vaccines are safe, & whilst you might get a local reaction (as with any vaccine) these are short lived, & as the MHRA (Medicines & Healthcare products Regulatory Agency) say, the benefits of vaccination outweigh any [perceived] risk. With some adverse reactions that have been mentioned in the tabloids (thromboembolic events), the risks are estimated to be 15 cases per million of vaccinated people, with a slightly higher incidence in younger people. This only after the AstraZeneca vaccination, & an alternative vaccine can be offered to those under age 40.

    There are very few individuals who cannot receive the Pfizer BioNTech, Moderna or     AstraZeneca COVID-19 vaccines. Where there is doubt, rather than withholding vaccination, appropriate advice should be sought from the relevant specialist, or from the local immunisation or health protection team.'

    To debunk the people saying we do not know what is in the vaccine that is completely false, it tells you what is in it on the information sheet you are given, the ingredients are listed there. 

    All this does is stimulates your immune system to be able to fight the protein that causes the virus, i too have a solid immune system but i would much prefer to have a little needle in my arm than be fighting for my life on a ventilator, the majority of people in hospital at the moment are not vaccinated, the problem is of course the virus will mutate and maybe the vaccines will not have as much efficacy that is just science, but personally i would rather have some defense against it rather absolutely none but that's just me.

    People who are saying oh its not researched enough, it is just an experiment etc etc are just being selfish think about other people and stop thinking about yourself. Anti-Vaxxers are incredibly dangerous to society and sadly that does include people close to me i respect their view but i have told them repeatedly they are also part of the problem.

              Vaccines do not work for everybody whether it be the covid/ flu or others. My children had all their vaccinations when young but both of them still got mumps. I'd sooner risk them than not.
