hi, wondering if anyone can please advise me on PIP review form 2021, i know theres a huge delay and its different depending on where you stay, im wanting to know if payment is increased, are payments back dated and if so when will they be backdated from, iv seen alot in papers etc about DWP due to pay out alot of money due to a few sad cases a couple years back, and i also live in dundee scotland if anyone knows rough wait time for here, thanks a bunch. PS i know theres only supposed to be backdated payments to claimants who have suffered from changes to there their conditions.

Hi,If you are awarded a higher award then payments will not be backdated unless you rang to report a wosening of condition. Payments will start from the date the decision was made.Timescales are approximately 10 months. Most people are having telephone assessments so expect one of those, only few people have face to face assessments at the moment.I would appreciate it if members wouldn't tag me please. I have all notifcations turned off and wouldn't want a member thinking i'm being rude by not replying. If i see a question that i know the answer to i will try my best to help.

That will be regarding the changes to following and planning a journey from 2017, which doesn't apply to everyone. Sometimes when you read things on the internet, all may not be quite as it seems. https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/pip-administrative-exercise-progress-on-cases-cleared-at-17-january-2021/pip-administrative-exercise-progress-on-cases-cleared-at-17-january-2021
