If you're in the Support Group then New style ESA/ Contirbutions based ESA continues for as long as you remain in that group. It's only time limited to 1 year if you're in the WRAG or you are still waiting for the decision on a work capability assessment and are still on assessment rate.

Hello @david400 and welcome to the community, I hope the above reply has been helpful.
You mentioned the "employment support group", do you mean you're in the support group? Or the work related activity group? I just wanted to clarify.0 -
Work related support group do you know what benefit you can claim after one year.

ThankyouThere's no such thing as "work related support group." It's either "Work related Activity Group Otherwise known as WRAG" or "Support Group." If you're in the WRAG then your payments stop after one year. The only other benefit that you can claim is Universal Credit but because it's a means tested benefit then claiming will depend on your circumstances. If you live with a partner you claim as a couple. If you have savings/capital of more than £16,000 you're excluded from claiming. It sounds like you're not sure which group you're in, if you don't have your work capability assessment decision letter to have a look at then you'll need to ring DWP to ask which group you're in.0 -

If you are being paid £114.10/week then you are in the Support Group and ESA will continue.0
