So I called pip today to confirm no prison care home and bank details. I said that I have been waiting over a year and on a mandatory decision. They said they have not made a decision and my app was held back a week for the bank info but they definitely do not make decisions before asking for bank details. She stated they have not made a decision yet so people please don't think that you have won by them asking for bank details. I'm confused.

When you ring DWP you are talking to someone from a call centre not someone from DWP itself. It has been known plenty of times for them to ask for bank details if a decision's gone in your favour.Though we have had a member quite recently when they were called from DWP decision maker to ask questions on their claim, one of the questions was about bank details. When they had the decision of the MR is was still a refusal.I would appreciate it if members wouldn't tag me please. I have all notifcations turned off and wouldn't want a member thinking i'm being rude by not replying. If i see a question that i know the answer to i will try my best to help.

What a merry go round... she said the claim was held on 5th for this new information to make a decision. Guess it's a waiting game then... at least they had new phone number etc.
