No you are not. The SDP is for income based ESA whereas you get new style ESA which is not income based.Information I post is for England unless otherwise stated. Rules may be different in other parts of UK.

Unfortunately not because the ESA you’re claiming is New Style ESA and there’s no disability premiums payable on this. There’s also no disability premiums payable on UC.
see link https://www.gov.uk/disability-premiums/eligibilityI would appreciate it if members wouldn't tag me please. I have all notifcations turned off and wouldn't want a member thinking i'm being rude by not replying.If i see a question that i know the answer to i will try my best to help. -
OK, thank you . It's all very confusing, I'm relatively new to this

It certainly can be quite confusing @yves, especially when it's something that is new to you, you definitely aren't alone in that regard.

@Ross_Scope
They don't make it easy do they. The disabled are really disregarded when it comes to support. Thankfully there are charities out there to help us . -
No it certainly isn't easy @yves, but yeah it's good that there are support services out there, and platforms where you can receive peer support from others going through similar things.
