Hi everyone
I telephoned pip today and asked for a mandatory reconsideration as I don't think the health assessor took any notice of what I told her and has obviously made her own words up and not mine , I think I've made a mistake when the man I spoke to at pip asked if I would like to do reconsideration over the phone instead of writing in , has anyone did this and been successful

The best way to request the MR is in writing stating where and why you think you should have scored those points. No harm in following that request by doing this now.
The most likely outcome of the MR is the decision will stay the same. Though we have had some members who’ve had the decision changed at this stage.Waiting times for decision is 2 -12 weeks sometimes longer. There’s lots of other threads regarding MR requests here so you could search to see what other advice you can see.0 -
Would I still be able to do this though as I have already did it over the phone ?0
