Happy with my PIP decision and timings

I agree with poppy and sue I have never chased up any part of my claims it won't make it any quicker to get a decision all it does is cause more stress constantly thinking about it and it ties up the phone lines no wonder it takes so long to get through
Also as its a call centre the info they give isn't always accurate you can rung up more than once about same query and get a different answer every time
I know it's hard waiting but personally I think chasing all the time is not the best option1 -

I've no idea where they get 2 or 3 weeks from, sometimes a decision is made within the time but not always. The timescale at the moment is more like up to 12 weeks, sometimes longer. Backlogs are just part of the reason a decision can be delayed. Comparing someone else to yourself as far as timescales go is also not helpful. It all adds to the needless extra stress.

It’s the PIP helpline. One of the options tells you if you have a PIP payment coming up but it’s not always correct. I tried the line today to ask for my report, however got to option 6 and it was very weird the line went kind of blank and I said hello and heard my voice echoing back on me, so I gave up. Will try again later this week.shellbell20 said:
I wasn't aware there was an automated line, what is it for,?danho811 said:Do they always tell you your payment dates and amounts if you have been awarded on the automated line0 -

I believe that is correct, but it didn't work for me today, just ended up hearing my own voice echoing so gave up on the idea.poppy123456 said:Laura442 said:

One of the reasons it wouldn’t work for you would be the decision hasn’t yet been made.shellbell20 said:

I believe it's option 6.I know it’s stressful waiting for a decision but please try to think of something else in the meantime.0
